My Process
Every digital tool I recommend, I use myself - in my own inbox, calendar, and daily task list - before it reaches yours. If it adds friction instead of removing it, it doesn't make the cut. Physical products are recommended based on thorough, independent research rather than hands-on testing.
My Framework
How I evaluate tools
Friction Check
System Fit
Long-Term Utility
Review Dispatch
Does this tool simplify or complicate it? For digital tools, I run them through my actual workflow - email, calendar, tasks and track exactly where they save time or add an extra step
How well does it work alongside the tools I already use? A great tool in isolation isn't enough - I look at how it fits into a broader setup, not just whether it performs one task well.
Is this a lasting asset or a passing trend? I favour tools that hold up over weeks of real use, not ones that just look impressive in a first impression.
Only tools that pass this process - tested firsthand where possible, thoroughly researched where not - make it into the newsletter, delivered weekly to your inbox.
